The Gathering of Nations

Every year, a migration of people come to Albuquerque, New Mexico for a breath-taking celebration of culture and peace: The Gathering of Nations.  It is a festival held every spring filled to the brim with Native American music, food, dancing, and arts and crafts. Enjoy on-stage entertainment as well as interactive performances from Native American families from all over the country who have come to share and spread their culture.

The event is one of the largest gatherings of Native Americans in the world, and the celebration spells excitement at every turn. The Miss Indian World Talent Presentation and Show is held for contestants who believe they truly hold the spirit and culture of the Indian people. Enjoy true Native American music as a number of tribal bands perform throughout the arena.

The Native American arts and crafts presented at the Gathering of Nations offers unique pieces any collector or those with a keen eye for art they would love to own. Beautiful works in a number of media will be available for purchase as well as on display. Many of the performers and attendees also wear authentic Tribal attire, which adds an unmatched air of realism to the celebration.
